The Younger Brothers Trading Co. is proud to offer a very special batch of Arhuaco Coffee: single origin wild-harvest coffee.
Indulge in our Arhuaco Coffee Medium Roast, 12 oz of wild-grown by Arhuaco indigenous families located in the sacred mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia, South America.
With a profile with cocoa, almonds, and sugarcane with citrus notes, grown above 1200 masl, this single origin Caturra coffee will please you and you'll feel even better knowing that you're supporting the people who care for our Mother Earth.
All funds have been sent directly to the families of Arhuaco indigenous coffee growers, and will be used to improve the livelihoods, health and education, as well as food security for the family and greater Arhuaco community.
Coffee and agroforestry production in the Arhuaco community is based on the fundamental belief system stewarded by the “Hermanos Mayores” (“Elder Brothers”), as the Arhuacos and Kogis call themselves, which is mandated by their spiritual elders, the “Mamos”.
The Arhuaco coffee practices focus on the conservation as well as the restoration of nature, which are the fundamental principles of the “Law of Origin", or “Law of Knowing”.
This is the goal of the Mamos and the Arhuaco indigenous community: to share their spiritually-driven mission of saving our Mother Earth by protecting the ancestral knowledge that the indigenous carry from millenniums of spiritual evolution, which is now being shared with you, through the experience of drinking the Arhuaco community’s coffee.
It is an honor for us to share this with you and your family.
